Inverted T Bypass: A Solution for Distal Revascularisation in the Absence of an Adequate Autologous Vein Graft

      Chronic limb threatening ischaemia (CLTI) can be a challenge for any vascular and interventional radiology team. The treatment of patients with CLTI in the setting of tibioperoneal disease is particularly challenging when they lack a full length autologous vein graft and after failed or technically non-feasible endovascular treatment. Some centres, like that of the authors, have accumulated experience in distal revascularisation using prosthetic grafts as an alternative to autologous vein bypass.

      However, to achieve acceptable results in distal prosthetic revascularisation, the presence of at least one excellent runoff vessel is mandatory.
